With the extraordinary possibilities of black theater, the special poetic charm of this fairy tale is brought to the stage through the interplay of human and puppet, of real theater and vision. On the black velvet-lined "peep-box stage", black-clad actors guide puppets and other objects through a narrow alley of light, creating illusions without digital technology - a unique phenomenon in Germany. Only the objects hit by the spotlights are visible to the audience, while the actors remain hidden in the dark. This allows the most amazing effects to be created, blurring the boundaries with reality and transporting the audience into a world of magic and illusion full of poetry and enchantment:
