The building is not only impressive in terms of its architecture, with its magnificent rococo and art nouveau reception hall, but also in terms of its activities: How is sparkling wine actually made? Anyone who has always wanted to know can take a guided tour of the winery and learn the secrets of production: From the historic marble hall to 7 floors deep in the wine cellars, where the 200,000 liter cuvée barrels are located, visitors are given a comprehensive overview, always accompanied by a refreshing glass of sparkling wine.

The Impression Tour is the ideal tour for anyone who wants to take a brief, inquisitive look behind the scenes at Henkell Freixenet, one of the most important sparkling wine cellars in the world. The tour starts in the impressive marble hall of the Wiesbaden headquarters. You will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before moving on to the sparkling wine production area, where the basics of sparkling wine production will be explained. Here, the tour participants learn, for example, what makes a cuvée and what the term "dosage" means. The next stop on the Impression Tour leads through the seven-storey deep wine cellar of the Henkell Freixenet sparkling wine cellar to the modern sparkling wine factory, where visitors are given an insight into the craft of traditional bottle fermentation. The Impression Tour ends at the Henkell Freixenet flagship store, where you can shop to your heart's content (Sundays excluded).
