About 12 years ago, the Frankfurt bassist and composer Thore Benz invented the Tiefenrausch Klangkombinat. His compositions are inspired by funk, jazz, world music and pop. The music of the Tiefenrausch Klangkombinat sounds urban, danceable, melodic and full of passion. Rhythm and sound merge into a pulsating organic unity. It is compatible with both jazz and dance clubs.
The "regular crew" of the Tiefenrausch Klangkombinat consists of Thore Benz on bass, Peter Back on saxophone and electronics, Juan Pablo Parrado Rivera on keys and Uta Wagner on drums. The Tiefenrausch Klangkombinat likes to invite musical guests to expand the sound spectrum.
