The charismatic singer-songwriter Michael Patrick Kelly continues his triumphant "Boats" tour, inspired by his successful album of the same name. The Irish-American artist played 55 shows across Europe and reached 300,000 visitors on this tour. His sold-out and acclaimed concert at the Giessen Kultursommer in summer 2023 is still a fond memory for many. His concerts are emotional and musical highlights. The fact that he was born into a life as a musician and has known the stage from an early age is also evident time and again in his artistic aplomb live. His voice remains perfect even after several hours of concerts, every note is spot on and he changes instruments during a show as if by chance, for example from guitar to flute or piano.
