Kultur in Bad Vilbel

The medieval moated castle, located in the middle of the town of Bad Vilbel on the banks of the Nidda, is once again offering a varied program in a historically rustic setting this season. Among other things, "Ronja the Robber's Daughter" will be performed for children:

Ronja is born on a stormy night, a bolt of lightning splits her robber family's Mattisburg castle in two, creating a dangerous "hellmouth". Eleven years later: Ronja discovers Birk, the son of the enemy robber chief Borka, on the other side of the abyss. Initially suspicious, the two grow closer, stand their ground together against wild druids, gray gnomes and bumpkins and, despite the family feud, remain close in the future. The world-famous author Astrid Lindgren's timeless story of friendship and freedom will captivate all children aged 7 and over.
