The two "marriage crackers" Wilma and Willi have lasted twenty-five years and now want to celebrate their marriage with a silver wedding anniversary. But is there a reason for it?
The party has been prepared, the guests invited and both have come up with some special ideas - but their joint review could hardly be more different. Wilma has precise ideas about how the evening of the silver wedding should go and Willi wants to keep the guests happy with his improvised surprise. Wilma insists on a dress rehearsal because she doesn't trust Willi...
Completely in their element and spiced up with a huge portion of comedic moments, Willi and Wilma reach into the treasure chest of belligerence. In exciting analogies from animal to clown, both examine married life with a magnifying glass. Once again they give their all and outdo each other with provocations, but in the end reconciliation prevails.
