The monthly 30-minute organ matinées at lunchtime in the Imperial Cathedral have become firmly established in Frankfurt's musical calendar. Andreas Großmann, a trained church musician from Wiesbaden, plays the cathedral organ with its 116 stops and around 9,000 pipes, making it the largest organ system in Hesse. The program includes works by Max Reger, Georg Böhm, Jean Francois Dandrieu, Denis Bedard, Gottfried August Homilius and Jean Langlais.
