Is there an ideal way to fight for ideas? The matriarchal sect Dea Mater is based on the belief that God is a woman. It wants to bring women back to the forefront of society. To this end, it builds a temple and invites women to join them. In search of her missing daughter, journalist Evaëlle infiltrates the sect. She discovers complex women with troubled lives who have led her to extreme ideas. Some want Evaëlle to join their group, others don't trust her. Will Evaëlle's arrival change the dynamics of the group? What will happen when they find out the real reason for her presence? And will these encounters have an impact on Evaëlle and her view of the world?

Will Evaëlle manage to find her daughter without burning her wings? And what is she really looking for? Dea Mater fights with the matriarchy against the patriarchy. However, her followers are not all in agreement about how to achieve the overthrow of society, and while some want peace, others want war. So will there be a revolution? The audience decides by making a choice that determines the outcome of the performance.
