Palmengarten

Since its foundation in 1868, the Palmengarten has been a popular excursion destination in the heart of Frankfurt. Exotic palm trees and cacti in the greenhouses brought botanical diversity to the Main metropolis even back then and still delight visitors today. In addition to the flora in the extensive grounds, the lake with its rowing boats is also enchanting. The small railroad as well as various playgrounds and gastronomic offerings provide the whole family with a little vacation day in the middle of the big city.
