The town of Bad Nauheim is known throughout Germany for its outstanding Art Nouveau complexes and the Trinkkuranlage is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful of these. Top-class concerts are regularly held in the listed complex. Between the horseshoe-shaped colonnades, there is not only an orchestra shell, but also the spa fountain temple with its splashing fountains. Behind it rises the drinking hall, which is architecturally based on an ancient thermal bath. In its center is the gilded spring bar.
How wonderful: life on the farm! Cackling, grunting, barking, bubbling, smacking, birds singing - everything could be so beautiful if it weren't for THIS COW! Rosemarie knows everything better. She doesn't find fault with anyone or anything: the chicken clucks too loudly, the dog smacks his lips when he eats, the goldfish isn't wearing his swimming trunks, the pig is as dirty as a pig, and the farmer's pyjamas - embarrassing. There's only one thing to do: the cow has to go - far away. And so the farmer drags her to the airport, books a ticket and sends her far away without further ado. Peace at last, there you go. All the animals can do what they want and the farmer can put on his favorite pyjamas. But suddenly there is a growl outside the barn door: first a crocodile, then a lion, a giraffe, more and more.... One animal after another appears on the farm, because since THIS COW lives far away, no animal is allowed to be the way it is. Peaceful coexistence is finally over.... In a humorous way, with lots of wit and music, the play tells of narrow-minded philistinism versus respectful, tolerant coexistence.
