Kultur in Bad Vilbel

The medieval moated castle, located in the middle of the town of Bad Vilbel on the banks of the Nidda, is once again offering a varied program in a historically rustic setting this season. Among other things, the summer concert of the "Landesjugendjazzorchester" will be performed:

For years, this youthful select ensemble, in which the most talented jazz musicians from all over Hesse play big band jazz together, has been one of the musical perennial favorites at the castle. For the director and conductor Jan Wessels, as for many other alumni, the LJJO was the springboard for a stellar career in jazz. Today, they can be found in professional orchestras and renowned bands throughout Germany. Highest musical level guaranteed!
