It is said that "weird birds" don't have all the slats on the fence. But the "old people" from the Kikeriki Theater are not only "weird birds" at heart, they are also very proud of their very unique "picket fence". And so in this program they show with great pleasure that you can put on a wonderfully weird spectacle in front of, behind and above it.

The Kikeriki Theater stands for cheerfulness, frivolity and nonsense, but never for the senseless! Out of a desire to look the people in the mouth and not mince their words when ruminating, the pitfalls of everyday life and all human weaknesses are presented in a way that is sometimes hard to digest, sometimes easy. The idiosyncratic style of the Kikeriki Theater also includes a lovingly ironic treatment of the Hessians' specific way of speaking and living. The theater staff write all the plays, build the puppets, make the sets, compose, direct and perform themselves. The ensemble has already delighted over 1.8 million spectators.
