The artists in the "Flamenco sin fronteras" series have been performing successfully on national and international stages for years and convey the entire range of emotions: from the immediate joy of life to sadness, loneliness, pain and love - just like life itself. Their love is for traditional flamenco, but their creations are also characterized by modern influences.

Anna Castillo is a Chilean-American-German dancer who lives between Barcelona and Berlin. She developed as a flamenco dancer in the Berlin scene from the age of 5. In order to improve her technique in Spain, she took lessons as a child from prominent personalities such as Manolete. Dancers such as Belen Lopez, Concha Jareño and Jose Manuel Alvarez influenced her dance style. She became a member of the Alba Alsina Quintet, which presented fusion compositions between jazz and flamenco.

Anna is currently working on her contemporary flamenco theater piece "Tanz mir, nur immer zu viel", which premiered in Berlin in August 2024.
