Streetfood 269

With Streetfood 269, restaurateur Nir Rosenfeld (Kuli Alma, DOMINION FOOD REVOLUTION, LIFE DELI, NANA, two six nine) has opened another innovative and vegan restaurant in Frankfurt's Eschersheim district. The snack bar focuses on main dishes made from animal-free street food and is the small offshoot of the two six nine restaurant in Westend. Delicious dishes such as labaneh, hummus falafel, shawarma, shakshuka, shawommes, various burgers and tasty side dishes as well as brownies and chocolate mousse for dessert round off a visit to the restaurant. The focus on sustainability is not only reflected in the menu, but also in the interior design of the snack bar. In addition to natural, sandy colors, attention was paid to the use of recycled materials.

The restaurant is called "two six nine 269" after the number on the ear tag of a bull rescued from slaughter in Israel. This bull can now spend its life happily and in freedom and symbolizes an equal life for all sentient beings.
