The elephant that made the world go round - Family concert in the hr-Sendesaal - 2for1 tickets
Tom Peter, the trumpeting elephant, likes to play wild jazz. His school teacher doesn't like this at all, so he sets off to find new friends who want to make music with him. On the way, he meets the humming whale, the drumming penguin and the yodeling parrot. Can they convince the teacher together that jazz is a great thing?
Trumpeter and composer Matthias Schriefl has developed the musical story about Tom Peter and his search for friends, inspired by the book "Erwin mit der Tröte" by Volker Kriegel. The cartoonist Rupert Hörbst guides the audience through the swinging adventure not only with words but also with drawings. The musicians of the hr-Bigband slip into the other roles.
For children aged 6 and over.
