Do you remember the 90s? Three major types of jokes dominated the 90s! Blonde jokes, manta jokes and Helmut Kohl! There were also funny boy bands: Take That, Backstreet Boys and Westlife, for example! A real treat in the Äppelwoi interpretation. Not forgetting the oldest German boy band, the Flippers. Yes, they really did have their biggest hits in 1997 and 1998. But they are only revealed in the show. Surprise egg exchanges were the big hit in '97 and people believed in aliens and UFOs again, triggered by the TV series "The X-Files".

DJ Ötzi created "Anton aus Tirol", Dolls United played the disco version of "Eine Insel mit zwei Bergen". Lambada was the insider tip for all those who couldn't dance at all, and the Prinzen demanded "Küssen verboten". TITANIC was the movie hit par excellence, which is why Leonardo di Cabrio performs live in this show. Jürgen Drews was "the king of Mallorca" and Janet Jackson just said "Whoops now". Other German hits were represented by Die Toten Hosen and Klaus & Klaus with "Eiermann". Otherwise it was "Go west" with the Pet Shop Boys and all the ex-GDR citizens. Michael von Loefen and Lukas Huber were on stage.

The "Deutsche Äppelwoi-Theater" was founded in 2006 by Michael von Loefen as a comedy show theater and offers a colorful show program that is stylistically based on the legendary "Blauer Bock". This means that the audience not only enjoys the atmospheric stage program, but also experiences the bistro atmosphere with drinks and snacks in direct synthesis with the show.
