Once upon a time, girls from Wetterau who were not obedient were banished to the gorges of the Feldberg. There they sat alone with the Feldberg Marmots (played by the audience) and mourned. But the highest god of the Hessians also lives on the Feldberg: The Raddegiggel. And when he then imposes a spell: For example, that the Wetterau girls are only allowed to speak and sing in Bavarian from now on, then the fun begins in the Äppelwoi Theater! Especially when it's a Hessian Schlager musical: of course they all fall back into their Hessian dialect and sing the way they grew their Hessian beaks. Finally, Mrs. Batz, who has an exemption from the Raddegiggel, arrives and gives Hessian lessons to everyone present - tears of laughter are guaranteed.

"Der alte Holzmichel" becomes "Schmidtchen Schleicher", Zarah Leander actually comes from the Wetterau and everyone sings the "Fliegerlied" and plays "Cowboys and Indians". And nobody will believe it: there is a "star that bears your name" above the Feldberg. Finally, two trained polar bears, who incidentally live in the Hintertaunus region, appear and yodel "Hey, Hey, Hey Baby" with DJ Ötzi. 100 costumes in 100 minutes is once again the motto of this crazy show in the Äppelwoi Theater. And even the good old Russian "Kalinka" joins in the celebrations, because "We are all over 40"! Franzi Lissmeier, Lukas Huber, Michael von Loefen and Katrin Dezius are on stage.

The "Deutsche Äppelwoi-Theater" was founded in 2006 by Michael von Loefen as a comedy show theater and offers a colorful show program that is stylistically based on the legendary "Blauer Bock". This means that the audience not only enjoys the atmospheric stage program, but also experiences the bistro atmosphere with drinks and snacks in direct synthesis with the show.
