Leoncavallo's popular opera "Pagliacci" and Mascagni's insider tip "Le maschere" are transformed into an evening full of humor, passion and drama about the question: what on stage is fiction and what is reality? The ensemble transports us to the world of commedia dell'arte in southern Italy with dreamlike melodies and great emotions. Because comedy and tragedy often go hand in hand, as in "Pagliacci", the play about the fairground comedians and their "Bajazzo". The exciting opera thriller can be wonderfully combined thematically with "Le maschere", the love story of Florindo and Rosaura.
