Palmengarten

It's fluttering again in the Flower and Butterfly House in the Palm Garden! Many tropical butterflies from Costa Rica can be admired there again until April 21. The 600 square meter greenhouse and the exhibition "Dusted off - of flowers and their visitors" are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission 7:30 p.m.), included in the regular Palmengarten admission and can be visited.

Since its foundation in 1868, the Palmengarten has been a popular excursion destination in the heart of Frankfurt. Exotic palm trees and cacti in the greenhouses brought botanical diversity to the Main metropolis even back then and still delight visitors today. In addition to the flora in the extensive grounds, the lake with its rowing boats is also enchanting. Various playgrounds (also with water in summer) and gastronomic offerings provide the whole family with a little vacation day in the middle of the big city.
