The Korean word "Basak" translates as "crispy" and there is no better way to describe the Korean corndogs from Basak kdog. The deep-fried corndogs wrapped in batter and coated in panko are crispy, fluffy and simply irresistible! Jenny Ji Choszcz and Angelo Keil's fledgling company has previously presented itself at various pop-up markets in the region and is now opening its first permanent stand at Kaisertor. In addition to the classic version of corndogs (which are even halal), there is also a mozzarella filling for vegetarians and a vegan option of the sausage. You can also choose potatoes as a topping and various sauces such as yuzu mayo, buldak, sriracha or sweet chili. Perfect for a snack between meals - especially with the highlight sauce "Buldak-Kewpi Mayo". Other specialties such as kimchi, Korean drinks such as Matcha Cloud Foam Coconut Water and sweet options such as Pandan Mochi Brownie can also be found on the menu - depending on the season and availability.
